The Brown Lady haunts Raynham Hall in Norfolk, England. She often wears a heavy brown dress and might be Dorothy Walpole, who married Viscount Charles Townshend. She died in 1726 and was sighted roaming around the Hall.

 

Haunted ChateauHaunted House

Oregon Caves Chateau was built in the early 1930's. The six-story chateau, completed is in the base of Cave Creek Canyon near the Oregon Caves entrance. A spirit named Elizabeth haunts the sixth-floor hallway during the day and roams the hotel at night. On her wedding night, she jumped to her death from the window of Room 301 after finding her husband in a compromising position with one of the chambermaids. The building is being restored. It has been closed since 2018.

    A phantom dressed in clothing from the 19th century was thought to haunted cell block D. An inmate was screaming, crying, begging, pleading for help from the guards. He In the morning the guards found him dead, strangled to death. He could not have done it to himself.

  • Heceta Head Lighthouse in Florence, where a friendly ghost named Rue helps the staff.
